William Rosenstadt is a co-founder of Ortoli Rosenstadt LLP and head of the firm’s Capital Markets practice. Mr. Rosenstadt is also cofounder of Ortoli Rosenstadt Ye Pte Ltd, a Singapore based sister firm serving our Asia based clients.

William’s practice primarily focuses on representing entrepreneurs, public companies, hedge funds, private equity funds and other corporate entities on complex international and corporate transactions.

William has 25+ years of experience in all types of public and private offerings, federal securities law compliance, venture capital financings, and international merger and acquisition transactions. He has taken companies public in the U.S. and European markets.

William commenced his career by clerking for the honorable James L. Garrity in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Subsequently, William was general counsel to a private-equity firm specializing in small/mid-cap leveraged buyouts where he was responsible for all legal aspects of that firm’s transactions. In 2006, he was a founding partner of Sanders Ortoli Vaughn-Flam Rosenstadt LLP, the predecessor to his current firm, Ortoli Rosenstadt LLP.

In addition to his law practice, William has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he taught Contract Negotiation and Drafting. That experience gave William a special insight to the practice of law from a teaching perspective, which he continues to utilize in advising clients and assisting other practitioners.
